Otto du Plessis is an outdoor person that loves to spend time in nature or at the sea, go camping, surfing and to take photo's of it all. His 4x4 bakkie (pick-up) chooses to go offroad by itself and is therefore never clean. Other interests are distance running and ironman (triathlon). He has a huge love for animals, no matter whether they are wildlife or domestic. He has spent countless hours at various parks around Southern Africa, photographing the beautiful nature and wildlife. Erlo
Brown was born on 31 October 1988 in Pretoria. He later matriculated at Port
Rex T.H.S. in East London. While growing up in the Eastern Cape he discovered a
love for nature that would later boil over into a life long pursuit of natures
marvels. He studied photography at Tshwane University of Technology. As part of his B Tech Degree in Photography,
Erlo walked the entire coastline of South Africa to photograph landscapes. He
finished his B tech degree in Visual Communication (Photography) in 2011 at TUT
with distinction.
Erlo is
an enthusiastic person who loves nature and enjoying life. It is this love of
nature that is evident in his photography. As a landscape photographer and
adventurer Erlo wishes to open people’s eyes to the beauty of God’s creation
through his lens. In his love for nature and photography there are many few
things that he enjoys more than sharing his passion with others. Lauren,
Erlo’s wife plays a vital role in his photography. As his assistant and
best friend, she makes the better half of a great team.
